It’s pretty simple to do and legal. From now till December 16 you can get a copy on Steam for free and all you have to do is like their facebook page in order to get it.
It will be in limited numbers so you better pick it up as fast as you can. The downside is that its only on PC and you need a stream account but Steam is free. if you dont know anything about Metro 2033 here is some gameplay of the free PC one that you can pick up
I dont think I have said this but am not really a FPS fan but two games got me into and one almost Killed it for me but I will talk about it later right now I want to look what was just released. GearBox got a little game coming out call Borderlands 2. and this is one of the shooters I want to play, well not just want to but I already own and play the first one on P.C. and currently playing the hell out of it. I gotten it from the stream summer sale they had going on wish i had gotten a few other games but couldn’t.
I love the idea behind borderland so much that i always wanted the first one on the 360 but never gotten it, now that I have it on P.C. I might get it on the 360 at a later date. I did how ever pre-ordered the Loot edition of the Borderlands 2 and finished paying it off in August and all I am doing now is waiting for it in the mail. Over the weekend Gearbox released the skill chart for you playing pleasure so right now you can look at all the different skills you can get in the game right now. The down side is that your limited to level 50 but this was the same thing with the first game, but was changed when they released D.L.C. With seeing the new characters skill trees am thinking to myself why not make them in the order I plan on playing them.
I wont say these will be my final builds but with a game like this I see myself starting over a lot and hopefully with a few different ways to play. If you want to make you own, you can click on each of the character names to do so without going to the official site and then character then the character then skill tree. I made it really simple for you.
The downside I see right now is the fact that they didn’t put the skill tree for the 5th class the Mechromancer but that is a small thing and I am thinking it is not there only because they are still working on her right now for D.L.C.(It’s free if you pre-order the game, any edition. The loot edition has been sold out for a while now and I got one of them.) and will be out later.
Be sure to check out the official site if you want to see more about that game.
sorry its just the song, no video playing or anything just the music. If you want to see the video with just Jonathan Coulton or GLaDOS singing the same song alone click here for Jonathan Coulton and here for GLaDOS
Lyrics:
This was a triumph!
I’m making a note here:
“HUGE SUCCESS!!”
It’s hard to overstate
my satisfaction.
Aperture Science;
We do what we must,
because we can.
For the good of all of us.
Except the ones who are dead.
But there’s no sense crying
over every mistake.
You just keep on trying
till you run out of cake.
And the science gets done,
and you make a neat gun
for the people who are
still alive.
I’m not even angry…
I’m being so sincere right now –
Even though you broke my heart,
and killed me.
And tore me to pieces.
And threw every piece into a fire.
As they burned it hurt because
I was so happy for you!
Now, these points of data
make a beautiful line.
And we’re out of BETA.
We’re releasing on time!
So I’m GLaD I got burned –
Think of all the things we learned –
for the people who are
still alive.
(Go ahead and leave me…)
(I think I’d prefer to stay inside…)
(Maybe you’ll find someone else
to help you?)
Maybe Black Mesa?
That was a joke! HAHA!! FAT CHANCE!!
Anyway this cake is great!
It’s so delicious and moist!
Look at me; still talking
when there’s science to do!
When I look out there,
it makes me GLaD I’m not you.
I’ve experiments to run.
There is research to be done,
on the people who are
still alive.
And believe me I am
still alive.
I’m doing science and I’m
still alive.
I feel fantastic and I’m
still alive.
While you’re dying I’ll be
still alive.
And when you’re dead I will be
still alive.
EA Montreal are currently at work on an Army of Two sequel, and as part of that work, have been looking at what was wrong with the first game. Like how Europeans hated it.
“We had this whole market in the US that thought the tone was cool, but in Europe everyone thought it was ridiculous and tasteless and a bunch of frat guys running around”, EA Montreal’s Reid Schneider told GI.biz.
Their solution? Let players tailor the tone of the sequel to the way they’re playing it. “One of the things we learned was that we’re never going to be able to please both. So the way you interact with your partner and decisions you make – if you’re doing a lot of fist bumps – these influence the tone and the dialogue of your character. If your taking it on a more serious level then the game reacts seriously.”
As neither an American nor a European, I feel I’m qualified to say that if you’re skimping on the fist bumps, you’re missing the point.
